Depositing money using the PayU method for Luno customers in Nigeria ensures that funds reflect near-instantly in your wallet. To do this, all you need to have is a bank account with funds in it and a bank card with the 3D Secure service activated.
Here’s how to make your deposit using PayU
Follow the usual deposit method by choosing Deposit Money from the More menu on your home screen. Then follow these steps:
Step 1: From the selection choose Bank transfer with PayU.
Step 2: Enter the amount you wish to deposit according to the limits specified.
Step 3: Confirm the amount and deposit fee, then select Continue to PayU.
Step 4: Once redirected to PayU, fill in your Card Number in the Account Number section, Account Name, choose your bank from the dropdown menu and then select Continue.
Step 5: Next you will receive a one-time pin (OTP) to your mobile device, enter it in the Enter OTP field and then hit the Pay option (see FAQ for first-time PayU users below).
Step 6: Once the deposit is successful, you will receive a confirmation screen in PayU that states your transaction was successful. At this point you will receive an email from PayU with the merchant reference number of your deposit.
Step 7: Finally, select Continue and you will be directed back to Luno with a transaction success screen.
