If you’ve lost access to your Luno account, the steps needed to regain access will vary depending on your scenario.

Lost password

If you’ve lost your password, you can restore access to your Luno account by clicking on the forgot password link. We’ll send you a special link by SMS, that lets you create a new password. 

If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will be asked to enter your six-digit code. If you don’t have access to your two-factor authentication codes, see the rest of this article below for instructions.



Lost two-factor authentication codes and I know my password

If you know your password but have lost your two-factor authentication codes (this includes losing the authenticator application or the 6-digit codes not working for any reason), you can request an automated two-factor authentication reset.
