As with any service, there are a few basic requirements in linking your bank account to your Luno wallet and requesting withdrawals.
- Withdrawals must be made to a bank account that belongs to the same person who owns the Luno wallet. The bank account must be in your name
- You may not withdraw money into a friend or family member’s bank account
- If you wish to use a company bank account to make withdrawals from Luno, please apply for a company account at Luno
Before requesting a withdrawal, you’ll need to first ensure that your identity is verified.
Requesting a withdrawal
To request a withdrawal, you will need to add a beneficiary to your Luno account. Learn more about adding beneficiaries and requesting withdrawals here.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Withdrawal times depend on your country and your bank. For more information, please see our withdrawal schedule.
How much does it cost to withdraw money?

What do I do when a withdrawal doesn’t work?
A withdrawal can fail if the bank account details were invalid or entered incorrectly. If this happens, you will need to contact our support team after 48 hours.
