You may be required to submit proof of identity documentation to upgrade your Luno wallet. You should submit a clear, colour photo or scan of one of the following documents, depending on your country. You can submit it after signing in on the Luno website or via the Android or iOS applications.
Below is a list of government-issued identity documents that we accept as proof of identity for citizens of the countries we operate in.

We require two documents to verify your identity.

Uploading your selfie
To ensure the safety of your Luno account, we may require additional proof of identity in the form of a self-portrait photo. Take an in-app selfie using Luno on Android or iOS, or upload an existing photo when you sign-in to Luno on your desktop or mobile web browser. Please ensure that the image is in colour and that your face is clearly visible in the photo.
